THE BEACHES
Close by are the beaches of Playa Flamenca (2 beaches),La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor,all within 10 minutes drive of the villa.
They all enjoy great views of the Med and the white sandy beaches are proud to display the prestigious Blue Flag, which is awarded by the E.U for cleanliness and safety.
Try Cap Capitan beach at Cabo Roig, a superb beach and a location where you could go for a coastal walk along the path that runs for miles north and south.
In addition there is the promenade at Punta Prima with the Nautilus Cafe where you can relax and just watch as the waves roll in onto the rocky promontory.
There are many more beaches you could explore further afield, Guardamar being one well worth a visit, north of Torrevieja
CLIMATE
The summers are dry and the winters very mild.The average temperatures range from approx 16 deg C in January to in excess of 30deg C in August.
The World Health Organization considers this part of Spain to be one of the healthiest regions in Europe.
The area is ideal for golfing breaks throughout the winter with almost guaranteed sunshine all year round.
